Forest, Field and Suburb – the Evolution of Crofton Park

Event Details

Free
Venue: Pistachios in the Park
Time: 2pm –  4pm

Walking some of the oldest paths and trackways, we will see how, over the last 1,000 years, our local environment has changed from a clearing in the Great North Wood, to the modern-day London suburb of Crofton Park. Guided by Mike Brown, we shall spot some old field boundaries, and see how the canal, the railways, the former ‘Big House’ and the Brockley Jack all shaped the area.
