An experimental storytelling event – storytelling in the round/in the pub. This is an open event, where people are invited and encouraged to tell a story in the pub. There is no hierarchy of speakers and there is no prior writing or reading experience required. We are interested in sharing and hearing a good story, this could be a funny anecdote, an interesting coincidence, a scary story, something sad or emotional. Anything goes! The only requirement being that these are not rehearsed readings of writing, we are telling stories. This event will be hosted by Think Big, Read Community Library to highlight the importance of stories as a point of connection.
