Roving Review #9 by Robert Cole

Some say that if you remember the 1960s, you weren’t there. If you want to know how Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, and Bob Dylan might have played as coming-of-age singer-guitarists, go see Sam Wilkinson. You’ll not forget him. Lucky ravers enjoyed Wilkinson twice at this year’s Brockley Max festival: first with Ramfunk and an electric guitar at the opening night; second in an acoustic solo set at the Art in the Park finale. Happy days.
