Lauren Elkin, author of No.91/92 Notes on a Parisian Commute, Flaneuse, women walk in the city in Paris, New York, Tokyo, Venice and London and Art Monsters, will read excerpts from her new novel, Scaffolding, and will discuss, with an audience. Copies will be available to purchase. Lauren will also be in conversation with essayist and playwright, Guy Atkins about the notion of the Flaneuse, women in the city, and the bookshop in the city. Guy will also talk to Lauren about art, the museum and her approach to queer characters in her new novel and the queer in art and the bookshop.
