Caricature Workshop with The Guardian’s Martin Rowson

Sharpen your pencils and your wit!

As part of the massive 25th Anniversary of the Brockley Max festival, the legendary Martin Rowson—one of the UK’s most acerbic and brilliant political cartoonists—is returning to lead an exclusive caricature workshop.

Whether you’re a seasoned sketcher or haven’t picked up a pen since school, this is a rare chance to learn the art of visual satire from a master. Martin, a long-time local resident and The Guardian regular, will guide you through the process of distorting features and capturing personalities with his signature “fun, challenging, and a little bit risqué” style.
