Meet the Team
Brockley Max relies on the time and goodwill of dozens of local residents, with a taskforce of volunteers to help sell raffle tickets, steward events, run workshops and generally keep things running.
Behind the scenes, the organising committee make sure the festival happens in the first place. We apply for funding, liaise with Lewisham Council to use public sites and organise the publicity and festival structure.
Here’s the team that makes it all happen.

Moira has lived in the area for 34 years and started Brockley Max in 2001 to provide opportunities for local artists to showcase their work. When not working on the festival, she’s a voice over artist, and lectures on archaeology in SE Asia and Europe.
