Brockley Max kicks of with our opening night party as an after Midday of rock and rap segues into an evening of soulful jazz and ska music and dancing on the street. From 4.30pm Brockley will be swinging as local bands and performers magic up rock to rockabilly, folk, funk and everything in-between! Hosted by our fantastic MC Dre and Brockley Studios.

Musicians and performers take over the front gardens & balconies of Brockley, Crofton Park, Honor Oak and Ladywell to form an amazing music trail during the first weekend of Brockley Max that the whole community can enjoy and support.

We salute Lewisham’s black female trailblazers
We continue to celebrate the women of 2023’s Black Women Icons of Lewisham project, where we honoured, Kristina and Sade Alleyne, Mavis Best and Rosamund Addo-Kissi-Debrah. Saturday 1st June -Are you between the ages of 9 and 15? Join us for film and curriculum-led activities about the history and continued work of these inspiring women. Monday 3rd June - we want to invite you and organisations to join a discussion about how a commemoration of Black women can continue in Lewisham. There’ll be a film screening and a vibrant panel discussion.

A fantastic day for all the family!
We are absolutely delighted that the much-missed Art In The Park is back for 2024. This fantastic free day for all the family is at the heart of Brockley Max and features kids’ workshops, story-tellers, face painting as well as food and drinks stalls including two great bars courtesy of The Brookmill and Fox & Firkin’s very own brewery. Enjoy a whole afternoon of free entertainment up on Hilly Fields, and make sure you stick around for the Brockley Max raffle draw at 5pm. Sponsored by The Brookmill and Brockley's Rock!
