Band Lineup
Below is more information about the local bands and singers performing on the Max In The Park stage throughout the afternoon.
AFROWORLD
Artist singer born in the Republic Democratic of Congo living in the United Kingdom. Music style is Congolese Rumba Dombolo.
Arch 57
Massive 14 person Funk and Soul orchestra playing your favourite songs: Goodtime Vibes for all!
Coldway
Coldway music strikes like a velvet-gloved fist, balancing Memphis’ raw musical heritage with a polished contemporary vision.
The Tennessee native’s dual talents as vocalist and producer manifest in an arrangement that allows space for both vulnerability and swagger, as his layered vocals navigate through meticulously crafted production.
His undercurrent of Alternative R&B pulses beneath surface-level accessibility, revealing deeper complexities with each listen. Coldway’s artistic lineage – shaped by collaborations with industry veterans – manifests in confident restraint rather than showmanship, creating an intimate atmosphere that feels both immediate and timeless.
Dubvocaliza
London High Octane Reggae band with catchy lyrics and maximum feel good vibes.
EL K Pri Firme
I’m a Bilingual musician raping in both Spanish and English, storytelling on different genre of music.
Jez Kemp
South Londoner JEZ KEMP brings energy and joy with catchy bangers and anthemic songs. From the classic indie-rock anthem “I Believe in Dinosaurs” to the brand-new earworm “Why Am I Like This?”, expect to be singing along on the day and humming the tunes for weeks to come. See you down the front!
London Soul Choirs
Soul Choirs is a professionally run, inclusive Community Choir operating across South East London and Kent. We operate a fun packed singing and social calendar. Upbeat songs, easy to learn, no auditions and new members always welcome! Our sessions are high-energy, fun and filled with laughter as we learn a carefully curated playlist. We are strong supporters of singing being hugely beneficial to mental well-being, particularly in a group, and wholeheartedly believe it makes a difference, recently cemented by winning Kent Wellbeing Award.
Our repertoire is made up of fantastic soul and pop mash-ups, guaranteed to get your toes tapping at the very least!
We’re always very keen to embed ourselves in the choir’s local community; we already perform regularly in the area at Cutty Sark Gardens, Hay’s Galleria, The Scoop, Hither Green Festival, Uptown Festival and On Blackheath to name a few! We’ve also performed alongside Mica Paris, Incognito, Odyssey and Alison Limerick at epic venues like KOKO.
Notso Athletic Allstars
If you like short, original, witty, left leaning, pop songs covering topics of growing up in South East London as well as leaving the team football kit on the train, and being in love with someone who adores their dog, then Notso Athletic Allstars are for you. Championed by Radio Caroline’s Mark Dezzani, who claims NAA are the missing link between The Beautiful South and Half Man Half Biscuit.
Phoenix Federation Steel Pans
At the Phoenix Federation, creativity is at the heart of everything we do, and empowering our children to express themselves freely is central to our beliefs. Through music, our students are given the opportunity to truly be themselves. Our Year 5 and Year 6 children participate in weekly steel pan lessons, where they not only acquire a new and exciting skill but also discover valuable lessons about themselves. Learning to play an instrument demands concentration, perseverance, and a commitment to one of our core values: determination. This program allows our children to grow in confidence, teamwork, and self-expression while developing essential life skills that extend far beyond music. We hope that you enjoy what you hear!
Phoenix Outliers
Phoenix Outliers are Jules Phoenix (Singer/songwriter/ guitarist) and Remi F (Vocalist, Producer and Percussionist), they have been performing at various gigs and festivals over the years, including Brockley Max, known for their individual sound and unique covers along with their own catchy and original songs, they play a fusion of Ska, Indie, Blues, Punk and Afro-Latin.
