Children of Lewisham. Your borough needs you. The year is 1883. Developers are threatening to demolish Hilly Fields to make way for a factory. They must be stopped! Help Octavia Hill (founder of the National Trust, campaigner extraordinaire and wearer of humongous knickers) save our precious meadowland for future generations.

Your mission will take you on a treasure trail around Brockley and its surrounds. Use our map to track down all the protected wildflowers. Collect the stamps from your local Lewisham Card shops. Then enter our prize draw for a chance to get your mitts on a treasure chest full of goodies (worth approx £200).

Download the map and competition rules here or pick yours up from a participating shop or cafe in Brockley and Crofton Park, Ladywell or Honor Oak. Completed trail forms must be handed in to the Lewisham Card stall during Art In The Park on Hilly Fields by 3pm on Saturday 4th June.

Join Octavia Hill on 4th June when she returns to her beloved Hilly Fields to announce the prize winner! The only thing is, some rowdy suffragettes are threatening to gatecrash the party…

3pm – Meet Octavia and the Suffragettes at the Stone Circle on Hilly Fields.

3:15pm – Follow the procession to the wildflower garden.

3:30pm – Help plant wildflower seeds.

3:40pm – Octavia draws the winning treasure trail out of her humongous… drawers!
