FOXBOROUGH ART ON YOUR DOORSTEP
By Robert Cole
Who knew? Two stunning murals by the entrance of flats in Foxborough Gardens, SE4. Stunning, yes, despite some need for some careful renovation which is exactly what John Keidan (pictured) and the Foxborough Tenants’ and Residents’ Association are doing. The murals are the work of William Mitchell (1925-2020) and the old London County Council (LCC). The eye-widening impact is a testament to the real-world value of public art.
Viewable any day.
