Sing For Brockley Max fundraiser tickets now on-sale
Hot on the heels of our sold out Martin Rowson and Luke Wright event next week we’re delighted to announce details of another fantastic Brockley Max fundraising event.
Sing For Brockley Max is a low-key version of La La Piano Bar’s rousing singalong nights, perfect for those who may have felt a little shy of stepping up to the microphone in the past. This great, fun evening is hosted by David Roper, of La La Piano Bar and 4 Poofs And A Piano fame. You’ll have a chance to sing along with others – or even step up to the microphone yourself and lead the crowd in a song.
The event – to be held on Friday 21st February and costing just £8 plus booking fee – takes place in intimate but atmospheric surroundings, upstairs at The Honor Oak. To stave off potential stage fright there’s a well-stocked bar!
La La has become a beloved local fixture on festival programmes for both Brockley Max and the Telegraph Hill Festival, while 4 Poofs And A Piano celebrated their 20th anniversary last October with a celebratory evening at Rivoli Ballroom!
Proceeds from Sing For Brockley Max will help towards the costs involved with putting on this year’s festival and securing its future in the face of funding cuts. Having lost 90% of festival funding that was previously allocated by Lewisham Council, Brockley Max and our kind supporters, performers and local venues are pulling out all the stops to help ensure its viability through a series of #SaveBrockleyMax events.
