It’s been a fantastic first weekend of Brockley Max. The Opening Night on Friday was every bit as brilliant as we’d hoped it would be, with really wonderful music and an enthusiastic crowd.
Thank you to all the performers, supporters and volunteers. If you were there, we’re sure you’ll agree that the bands put on a superb show and the event was brilliantly curated by Richard Swan and hosted by Dre. We’re also grateful to The Brockley Barge for their help and to Speedicars for supplying the power.
This weekend’s Brockley Max events included a tour of Ladywell & Brockley cemeteries to find out about their history, cocktails in teapots at Little Nan’s bar upstairs at The Talbot, jewellery-making at Misty Moon Gallery, music at The Wickham Arms, Ladywell Tavern, Jam Circus and Hop Scotch Bar and an eclectic Artist Flea Market at Dragonfly Place.
