2016 – Nine days of fun. With over seventy events. Join us for the one and only Brockley Max.This year’s programme is literally bursting at the seams. Whether you want to catch a live performance, take a guided walk, or learn to play the harmonica, there is something for everyone. Plus we’re laying on extra activities to keep the kids entertained during half term.

Opening Night concert We take to the streets to launch the festival in true rock’n’roll style. Join us for this fantastic, free evening of live music outside Brockley station.
Merging Inks The external wall of 180 Brockley Road will provide the canvas for this live and collaborative art jam. Grab some paint and get stuck in!
Brockleywood Nights An al fresco film night under the stars, showcasing shorts from local filmmakers. Food and drink available. Don’t forget to wrap up warm and bring a rug!
Taking Shape An art competition and exhibition exploring shape. The winning entry will be bought and displayed by Shape Real Estate in their new central London development.
La La Piano Bar To The Max Sing your heart out as New York meets Brockley in this riotous night of cabaret hosted by David Roper (4 Poofs And A Piano) and Lady La La.
Art in the Park A glorious afternoon of entertainment for the whole family. There’ll be creative workshops, storytelling, a magic show and craft market plus live music and dance performances.
Turn On And ‘Toon In with Martin Rowson The multi-award winning satirist will take to Hilly Fields to create a giant cartoon, live, during Art In The Park.
Tuesday Quiz Night Put your thinking caps on. We’ve joined forces with three of our favourite watering holes – Jam Circus, Ladywell Tavern & The Talbot – to bring you an evening of pub quizzes with an arty twist.
Treasure Trail Children will be transported to 1883 in a week-long quest to save Hilly Fields from development. They must track down precious wildflower stamps before being entered into a prize draw to win a hamper worth £100.
