Children’s Magical Marquee
£ 5 per child
Welcome to our amazing Magical Marquee, offering creative workshops for children up to 14 years Midday until 6pm. Workshops will include the ever popular ballooning workshop, tote designing, felt making, print making, puppet making, imaginary creatures and much more. The entry to the marquee gives you access to all the workshops. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Storytelling Tent
Free
Younger children and grownups alike, will love being entertained by our storytellers and performers.
1pm – 1.15pm
A fun reading of Casey Elisha’s book, My Mummy is Superwoman, where children will be read the book but also have to seek out hidden prizes – which, of course, they get to keep!
1.25pm – 2.25pm (2 x 30mins)
Children aged 3 – 8 have the opportunity to be a character in ‘super fun, funny and extremely educational’ Brenda’s Bottom, this will be one of the fantastic birds or Brenda herself! Acting coaching will be giving be TV actress, Sarah Sharman and the children can then perform in the stage version of the Brenda’s Bottom for their parents to see.
2.30pm – 3.00pm
Katy Darby will read on behalf of Ghillian Potts, The Old Woman From Friuli.
3.45pm – 4.15pm
A reading will be given by award winning actress, Clare Corbett. Clare read the audio version of Hawkin’s The Girl on the Train’.
Pirate Pete’s Treasure Adventure with The Bedlam Bunch
3pm – 3.45pm
“Off in search of gold we goes! Where we’ll land, no-one knows!” Sail Pirate Pete’s ship through stormy seas, into caves and caverns and solve the clues to find the treasure! Pirate training, giant snakes, riddles, races and rhymes! Suitable for ages 4 – 8 years. Info here.
Sally Spin’s Circus Parade with The Bedlam Bunch
4.15pm – 5pm
Be part of Sally Spin’s circus with acrobatics, clowning, hat-throwing, juggling, hula-hoops, magic and fortune-telling! Sally Spin will lead you through your circus training before you put on your very own circus show! Suitable for ages 4 – 8 years. The Bedlam Bunch Children’s Entertainment. Info here

Fishing fun in Brockley’s Rock pond by our Art In The Park sponsor is back again and is one of the most popular events with the very little ones.
Tree of Wishes
The Brockley Society street tree campaign, Street Trees For Living, will have a ‘tree of wishes’ which you can help to make and decorate with wishes, comments or pictures. For all ages and stages, materials will be provided, come and have a quiet moment relaxing and adding to our tree. There is always a wish in Lewisham! please pass along….

Watch Brockley locals Chantel and James (Pangea Arts) live at work, as they bring their trademark patterns to Brockley Max’s spectacular family art event. By the tennis courts (subject to weather).

Drink and Food Options
Scrumptious food will be served by local foodies including Caribbean Jerk, Van Dough pizzas, Cook House Curry, Malaysian Deli & Paul’s German Sausages as well as Pistachio’s Café. The Brockley Brewery and the Fox & Firkin will be keeping you cool with their refreshments.
