36 Hours – An exhibition for everyone Hanging Days
Friday 29 May – Sunday 31 May
Time: 11am – 5pm
Venue: Lewisham Arthouse
Free
A community art exhibition where we exhibit you! Bring your artwork 29th-31st May and we’ll put it on display and write a caption with you. No theme, no requirements, so long as it fits through the door. All ages and levels welcome. PWorks will be shown until 7th May, and can be collected on the 8th and 9th.
Are there any size restrictions? – No! So long as it fits through the doors. We will stop accepting art when we run out of space, however, so keep that in mind when bringing your piece.
Can I submit more than one piece? – you are welcome to bring more than one zine or magazine, but please only bring one piece of installed art to ensure as many people as possible can participate.
Is sculpture ok? – so long as we have space for it, absolutely!
Can I bring a piece of art on behalf of somebody else? – yes, as long as you have written permission from the artist! Please also try to reach out to us before so we’re prepared and make sure we have the information we need. There is also a small form you will need to fill out on their behalf.
What happens if I can’t collect my art on the 8th or 9th June? – please let us know as soon as possible via email (hello@36hours.london) so we can arrange transport to an alternative temporary storage location. Please note any works not collected by 1st July may be discarded.
Can I mail or leave the art at the Arthouse? – We want to make sure each artist has a say in the way their art is hung and described, so please do not run off! There is also a short form we ask everyone to fill out. We won’t hang or take responsibility for any pieces that are ‘dumped’.
Can I sell my art? – 36 hours wants artists to be in control of your art, so we won’t act as a middle man. If you have given us permission, and we get enquiries, we will pass on your contact details to prospective buyers.

I would love to take part, any size restrictions? Can it be sculpture?
Many thanks
As far as I know a sculpture will be fine! the original brief was any art any size as long as it goes through the door. But I am just double checking with event organiser. June
