Children will be able to make Magic Wands with Rachel, while Barbara will help you decorate a tote bag to take home. Eloise will make 3D maps with the children and with Paris, you can paint a lucky horseshoe. Marko will show you how to do Origami. While Rachel and Ruth will show you how to Mono print. Saturday 8th June is Art in the Park. Join local Saturday 8th June is Art in the Park. Join local children’s author Allison Parkinson in our storytelling tent at 3.45 pm for a fun and interactive story crafting workshop. She will explain why she wrote her Laurella Swift historical fantasy trilogy (which chronicles the time-travelling adventures of a mixed-race Lewisham schoolgirl) and show how she used items found in local charity shops to help develop the plots. Allison will also share writing hints and tips and distribute a range of everyday items to help fire young imaginations.
