Could you be Brockley Max’s next Volunteer Co-ordinator?

Brockley Max is gearing up for its biggest festival to date, as 2026 marks 25 years of our much-loved celebration of SE London’s community arts. Brockley Max is an exciting and inspiring nine-day community arts festival held in venues throughout Brockley, Crofton Park, Honor Oak and Ladywell that attracts approximately 5000 attendees each year.
The festival relies on the hard work of the organising team and dozens of host venues, but we also depend on our amazing volunteers who collectively give up hundreds of hours each year to ensure programmes are delivered, raffle tickets sold, attendees checked in and welcomed to events, radio programmes helmed and larger events stewarded and litter-picked. Scheduling and corralling this crack team of roughly 100 heroes is the role of our Volunteer Co-ordinator.
The paid but temporary role sees the post holder work across festival venues in Brockley, Ladywell, Honor Oak and Crofton Park as well as connecting with community organisations in Lewisham borough. The outreach element of this role is a crucial aspect of this exciting job opportunity. If you are an experienced volunteer manager and you’d like to be involved in Brockley Max’s 25th anniversary festival, you can find out more about the Volunteer Coordinator role at: https://brockleymax.co.uk/jobs/
