Brockley Max in it to win it!

Brockley Max is an enormously fun nine-day community arts festival, but planning and securing funds to make it happen each year takes many months. In fact, the Brockley Max team has been working on 2024’s festival since wrapping up 2023’s events in June. This of course includes appeals to local businesses and individuals to support the festival with sponsorship and advertising. Our media pack will be printed over new year and will be available from early January (check back for a downloadable version), and if you’ve kindly supported us before, we’ll be in touch then to talk through ideas for how we might support each other.

Raffle tickets have always been a very important part of helping support Brockley Max: our amazing volunteers do a fantastic job each year of asking event attendees to show their appreciation by buying a few tickets (and of course potentially winning prizes donated by wonderful local businesses). Thank you to everyone who has contributed.

There’s now a new way you can support Brockley Max: we’ve recently been accepted as part of the Lewisham Lottery (https://www.lewishamcommunitylottery.co.uk/support/brockley-max-festival) which exists specifically to back good causes including community events across our creative and inclusive community. Draws take place weekly, with tickets costing just £1 apiece and cash prizes up for grabs.

We are fundraising specifically for Art In The Park, the ever-popular family day on Hilly Fields. Packed with music, workshops, craft and food stalls, with face painters and a bar, Art In The Park is a wonderful day and a chance to meet up with family and friends in one of the loveliest parts of our neighbourhood. We were all upset that Art In The Park didn’t take place this year due to lack of funds, so let’s work together to ensure we can bring it back in 2024. Why not buy a Lewisham Community Lottery ticket or two for friends and family and help make one of the cornerstones of our beloved Brockley Max festival happen.
