Description
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment to be made by April 25th 2025. There is no vat payable on the rental fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation prior to 30 April 2025 full refund will be reimbursed. No refunds are possible on cancellation after 30 April 2025. No refunds will be given if the event has to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. bad weather).
INFORMATION
Please note there is no power available for stallholders.
We will provide you with a 5-6ft table and chairs if ordered and paid for in advance of the event.
There will be no parking in the park other than for food stalls. Parking is free on Eastern Avenue SE4. No You will be responsible for removing all your own rubbish from the area after the event. This includes cardboard boxes/storage items, black sacks of rubbish, packaging materials, decorations, food stuffs etc. Please dispose of all your rubbish responsibly off-site.
The organisers cannot accept responsibility to lost, stolen or damaged stock, which you bring at your own risk. You will be given access to the site from 10am on the day of the event. Please do not come earlier than this time as you will not be allowed to set up until the stated time. Please allow plenty of time to set up and merchandise your stall. If you arrive after the event begins (12pm) you will lose your pitch and will not receive a refund. Your pitch will be pre-allocated and plans will be available on the day to let you know where you are. This information will not be sent out ahead of time. Please do not dismantle your stall until 6pm.
Food Stalls
They will be required to bring the following to the event:
- A full price list of items to be sold
- A copy public / product liability insurance valid for the event dates to a minimum of £5 million public/ product liability and £10 million employers liability
- A copy of a valid hygiene certificate for at least one person on each Retail Unit
- A risk assessment
- Food Management Handling Plan
- Traders are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Fire extinguishers must be kept on hand, as per safety regulations
STALL SHARING
For smaller craft traders this is often the answer to sharing the workload filling the stall with enough stock. It is permitted to pool your resources and share with another trader subject to our terms and conditions. If you wish to share your stall please email stalls.brockleymax@gmail.com All sharers will require their own public liability insurance for a minimum of £5 million. For administrative reasons we require only one of the sharers to be our point of contact, this contact person will receive all payment requests and correspondence regarding the event.
Terms and Conditions
By making a payment for a stall you agree that you have read the above and undertake to comply with all terms and conditions therein and below. You indemnify Max Media Arts CIC and its event staff and volunteers against any claims, payments, costs or losses resulting from any failure on Max Media Arts CIC’s part to comply with the said Terms and Conditions.
These rules are designed to ensure the event runs smoothly and safely for all attendees and participants.
The event organizers are not liable for theft, loss, or damage of goods or equipment.
Traders are encouraged to secure their belongings.
You understand that this indemnity also covers any stallholders you may wish to share my stall with (subject to Max Media Arts CIC approval).
You give permission for your stall’s contact details to be stored on an electronic storage and retrieval system which will be created for the exclusive use of those involved in the organisation of the Art Mart at the Max. It will not be used by any third party without prior consent.
You undertake to take out public liability insurance to the value of £5 million, and to ensure that stallholders sharing your stall will do the same. Copies of this documentation must be submitted in advance of the event to stalls.brockleymax@gmail.com
Conduct
Traders must treat all event attendees, staff, and other traders with respect.
Any form of discriminatory or offensive behaviour may result in expulsion from the event.
