Brockley Max 2022 is coming!

Opening Night by Swanaround

After a fantastic 60 event Brockley Max last year despite Covid, we’re thrilled to be gearing up for this year’s festival with the expectation that things will be back to normal. And we are part of the Lewisham Borough of Culture, so even more people will hear about our amazing festival.

In addition to the Opening Night on 27 May by Brockley station, and Art In The Park family day on Hilly Fields on June 4th we’re hoping that you, the community, will want to organise an event, whether art, live music, comedy, theatre, dance, workshops or anything else..

Our event form is now live where you can find all the information you need to put on an event. And if you would like to discuss your idea with us first, then contact June at events@brockleymax.co.uk. She can help source a venue, connect you up with others or just run through what’s required.

After the huge success last year of performances in front gardens & public spaces, we’re calling on musicians and performers to take over the front gardens & balconies of Brockley, Crofton Park, Honor Oak and Ladywell to form an amazing music trail during the first weekend of Brockley Max (28th and 29th May) that the whole community can enjoy and support.

And for the duration of the festival we’re repeating our Art Trail that so many visited. If you are an artist or would like to help get your street involved in creating art in your windows, please sign up here.

Let’s show London just why Lewisham is such a fantastic choice for this year’s Borough of Culture!
