Show your Christmas spirit – and support Brockley Max!

Charity fundraising is a long-standing Christmas tradition dating to Dickensian times. In just such a spirit we invite you to a range of Yuletide events with some of the proceeds going towards funding next year’s Brockley Max festival.

Brockley Christmas Market takes place down by Brockley station on Saturday 7th December from midday until 6pm with dozens of fantastic stalls selling all sorts of arty gifts and amazing artisan foods. Youngsters (and the young at heart) can show how much they love Christmas by making a beeline for the warmth of The Brockley Barge pub and getting a warming brew as well as having their face painted. Pop in and pay your £2 per person face-painting fee and the proceeds will go to us!

There’s also a chance to embrace the festive season with Christmas decorations and card making workshops at Crofton Park Community Library on Tuesday 17th December from 1.30pm to 6pm. Here, you can show off your own creativity. There are three 90-minute sessions, running at 1.30pm, 3pm and 4.30pm.

Slots for both the snowflake dreamcatchers festive decoration workshop and the Christmas card workshop cost £5 plus booking fee and are suitable for all ages. Children need to be accompanied by an adult. Book through Eventbrite here for a specific time or turn up on the day.

And, of course, you can also donate directly as well as helping by sharing details of our events.

We are completely bowled over by the number of people who have stepped forward to offer events and donations to help fund Brockley Max. We can’t thank you all enough for such an amazing endorsement of how much Brockley Max means to the whole community.

We hope you’ll be able to join us at one or more events. If not, there will be several more in the New Year, so join our mailing list and keep an eye on our social media for details.

With the very warmest of wishes,

All at Brockley Max!
