Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes

Roald Dahl’s revolting rhymes story telling show, fun for the family with Join the Dots Theatre.
Bring the kids to join in and watch the imaginative retelling of 3 of Dahl’ revolting rhymes: Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Kids and Goldilocks, with original music.


Acoustic Toast
Cooper’s Bakehouse SE4
2pm – 3pm

Toast and Tea. With mellow acoustic guitar and vocals. What’s not to like.
Make sure you get your free tickets to avoid disappointment.


Stand Off play
Cooper’s Bakehouse SE4
4pm – 5pm

Don’t go anywhere after your tea and toast – stay for this play by Imogen Comrie.

One girl. One shift. One goal. Do not eat the muffins.

‘Strange Brews’: Short stories
The Talbot
4pm – 6pm

Hear local writers group, ‘Writers of Our Age’, read specially written stories on the theme of ‘Strange Brews’.
While you head to the bar for your brew and join in with the writing game!

Film Screening
Good Hope Café, Ladywell
5.30pm – 7.30pm

There is a £3 charge to cover the cost of the venue hire.

Join us for a wonderful evening of films focusing on South East London.

‘Memories of Ladywell Baths’

This is a specially commissioned film about Ladywell Baths, celebrating the dance parties, boxing rings, midnight swims, floods and ghostly tales from this iconic building.

‘Concrete Soldiers UK’

Concrete Soldiers looks at the destruction of council estates in south London and the inspiring resistance of residents fighting to save their homes.

After the screenings, stay for the Q&A with director Nikita Woolfe and narrator Andy Worthington.


Poetry in the Brewery
Brockley Brewery
6pm – 9pm

The evening starts at 6pm and you can bring your own meal whilst you enjoy an evening of open mic poetry, prose and spoken word.

If you want to get involved, you can! Perform your own work, read something from your favourite artist.


Notso Athletic Allstars
General Napier Open House
8pm – 10pm

Don’t call it a night yet! Come see the ‘Notso Atheltic Allstars’! With original music, it will be a fun evening at this fantastic venue. This is for the Billy Bragg fans out there, with their sound described as a cross between Billy Bragg and Jimmy Hill. Expect songs about love, social injustice, hope and football.
