Let’s get this party started!

We’re counting down the days until Brockley Max Opening Night and have we got a treat in store for you!

Brockley Max Opening Night is an amazing event, with entertainment from performers of all ages in a range of musical styles. We’re putting on an afternoon and evening of fantastic, free music at our outdoor stage, just a stone’s throw from Brockley station, and there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy. We’ll get Brockley swinging with local bands and performers from choral to classical, reggae to rock, with folk and funk in between.

We’ve got a jam-packed line-up this year which features:
→ Coldway – soulful Memphis rap, taking us on a melodic journey through space.
→ TATYANA – blurring the boundaries between pop, jazz and folk – with a harp!
→ Glasxs – indie-electronica, mixing robots with nature.
→ Boy Wonder – Born in Lewisham, this 18 year old singer/songwriter brings his own unique sounds to a perfect summer evening.
→ Lina Simons – an Afroitalian singer mixing rap with soul music.
→ Thunk – a blend of jazz, funk, ska, reggae and South African music to really get you dancing!
→ Hummie Mummies – our local, child-friendly pop choir are back again!
→ Prima Queen – this all-female alternative/indie band combine story telling with light-hearted lyrical imagery.
→ Josef Pitura-Riley – upbeat pop/rock songs which are guaranteed to put you in a party mood!
→ Dusty – a one-man blues musician playing slide guitar.

We’ll be bringing the night to a close with local music collective Yin Yang Magic Gang, who’ll be mixing zombie dub and old school dancehall with reggae, roots and jungle to really get you into your groove.
