Submit your short film to the Brockley Max film night

Brockley Max is delighted to announce that one of our most popular events, Brockleywood Nights, is making a return at this year’s festival. Brockleywood Nights is an evening of short films screened on Hilly Fields. Film curator Declan McGill is currently looking for films to show on the night – Friday 3rd June.

Declan says “The night is aimed at showcasing local short film talent and provides an opportunity to see the talent that lives just around the corner.”

All genres of film are welcome, with preference given to shorts of less than 15 minutes duration. However, longer films will also be considered. Films that are by local filmmakers or have a link to the local area are of particular interest. Ideally, Declan would like all the films shown at Brockleywood Nights to be from the Lewisham or south London area.

The outdoor screening will take place at the Stone Circle on Hilly Fields on the evening of Friday 3 June

To submit your film or performance idea for consideration, please email declanmcgill@googlemail.com.

To whet your appetite, this is Woodhouse by Fred Rowson, one of the films shown at last year’s Brockleywood Nights event.
