Brockley Max Party in the Park

The final day of Brockley Max sees the action head to Hilly Fields where there’s a whole afternoon of activities for kids including the Animal Magic Carnival and the famous Art in the Park art workshops.

There’s a bar courtesy of Jam Circus for the grown-ups, the Brockley Max barbecue, a craft market for those who love to mooch and admire other people’s handiwork and a full bill of musical entertainment. Full details here.

Head on up to the Stone Circle on Hilly Fields from 1pm to see what makes Brockley Max such a popular fixture.

Across the way in the lower reaches of Hilly Fields, Francis Drake Bowls Club are holding an open day from 2pm to 5pm where you can find out what happens behind the ornate gate and try your hand at lawn bowls.

And if you just don’t want Brockley Max to end, there’s plenty of entertainment stretching into the evening too. Head down to Ladywell Tavern from 6.30pm with the Voodoo Binmen and the Flatliners followed by a comedy night until 1am.

Paper Fish is playing at Hopscotch Café from 8pm, The Little Devils are at the Wickham Arms from 8pm, and Jam Circus’s festival closing party has Djs until 3am.

Where else do you need to be?
